Project Background
ELTA was founded in 1828 by Ionis Capadias, the first Governor of Greece, with the mission of providing quality and cost-effective courier services to all citizens and to improve the quality of life of Greek citizens. It has been a courier company for nearly 200 years and has over 1,100 service outlets in Greece. However, the sorting process of ELTA still mainly depends on manual and semi-mechanization.
